How Our Ghostwriting Process Works
We start with 4-6 detailed interviews (in person in Chandigarh or via video call). The ghostwriter captures your voice, your stories, your key messages. A detailed outline is prepared for your approval before any writing begins. Then chapters are drafted and shared with you one by one — you review, suggest changes, and approve each chapter. The entire process takes 3-6 months depending on the book's length and complexity.
Complete Confidentiality
Every ghostwriting project is covered by a strict NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). Your ghostwriter's name never appears on the book — you are credited as the sole author. We take confidentiality seriously and have worked on sensitive projects including political memoirs, corporate histories, and personal stories that required absolute discretion.
Languages We Write In
Our ghostwriters work in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. For Hindi and Punjabi books, we have writers who are native speakers and understand the literary conventions of each language. If you prefer to give interviews in Punjabi but want the book written in English (or vice versa), we handle that translation seamlessly.
Pricing
Ghostwriting starts from Rs 50,000 for a short book (20,000-30,000 words). Full-length books (50,000-80,000 words): Rs 1,00,000-2,50,000. Price includes interviews, writing, revisions, and NDA. Publishing services are quoted separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will anyone know I used a ghostwriter?
Not unless you tell them. We sign a comprehensive NDA before starting. The ghostwriter has no claim to the work and will not discuss the project with anyone. Your name appears as the sole author on the book.
How involved do I need to be in the process?
You need to be available for initial interviews (4-6 sessions of 1-2 hours each) and review chapters as they are drafted. The ghostwriter does the heavy writing work, but your input is essential to make the book authentically yours. Most clients spend about 2-3 hours per week during the writing phase.
Can I ghostwrite a book in Punjabi?
Yes. We have experienced Punjabi-language ghostwriters who write in Gurmukhi script. Many of our Punjabi ghostwriting clients are community leaders, retired professionals, and cultural figures who want to preserve their stories in their mother tongue.
