Among the first to initiate meditation, mind training, Bani bodh (Bani knowledge) and Bani jugat (how Bani works) workshops, he encouraged people to seek everything from the Divine. Kirppanidh proudly says that she owes everything to Waheguru and her father. She best described it by saying, “Who I was, who I am, and who I will be, from the day I was born till the day I am gone, is all because of the Almighty’s blessings and my father’s guidance. Believing that she was born to serve, Kirppanidh considers her every endeavour as an extension of Sardar Balwant Singh’s Ji’s guidance. In complete submission, she bows to the Guru, for gifting her a father who connected her to the Divine. Giving her father the highest regard, she says

By launching a website, publishing books, and organising mental health awareness workshops, Kirppanidh wants to honour her father’s wish of connecting people to the divine light that dwells within them. ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ‘ਲੋਕਧਾਰਾ` ਅਤੇ 'ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ' ਦੋਵੇਂ ਗਿਆਨ-ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਚਿੰਤਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਕਾਟੇ ਹੇਠ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਧਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਅਸੀਂ ‘ਲੋਕਯਾਨ', ‘ਲੋਕ-ਵਿਰਸਾ’, ‘ਲੋਕਵੇਦ', ‘ਲੋਕਲੋਰ' ਦੇ ਝਟਕੇ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਕਦੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਈ ਲੋਕਧਾਰਾ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ‘ਸਾਹਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਲੋਕਧਾਰਾ' ਵਧੇਰੇ ਤਲਾਸ਼ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਕਦੇ ਅਧਿਐਨ-ਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਐਨ-ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਲੰਮਾ ਸਮਾਂ ‘ਸਭਿਅਤਾ` ਅਤੇ 'ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ' ਵਿਚ ਓਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਫਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਸੀਂ ‘ਲੋਕ ਗੀਤ' ਅਤੇ ‘ਲੋਕ ਸਾਹਿਤ’ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ। ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਕਲਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਖੇੜ-ਨਿਖੇੜ ਕੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਰੁਚੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿਖਾਈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਧਾਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਏ ਮੌਲਿਕ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ-ਰਸਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਸੇ-ਪਾਸੇ ਦੇ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ‘ਕਾਫੀ’ ਜਾਂ ‘ਮੁਕੰਮਲ' ਸਮਝਣ ਦੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਵੇਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ-ਲਿਖਿਆ-ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ।ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ‘ਲੋੜ’ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹੋ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ‘ਲੋਕਧਾਰਾ’ ਦੇ ਮੁਢਲੇ ਚਿੰਤਕ ਵਿਲੀਅਮ ਥਾਮਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਕ ਲੇਖ ਵੀ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਹਥਲੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਚਿੰਤਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ/ਲੋਕਧਾਰਾ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

मेरा प्रथम काव्य संग्रह 'तुम अगर होते' मेरे जीवन की एक बहुमूल्य उपलब्धि है जिसने एक इतिहासकार को एक कवयित्री के सांचे में ढाल संवेदनशील बना दिया है। यह काव्य संग्रह मेरे प्रियवर स्वर्गीय श्री राजीव वर्मा को एक सप्रेम श्रद्धांजलि है ।
इन कविताओं के माध्यम से मैंने अपने प्रियतम से मिलने और बिछुड़ने के एहसासों को कलमबद्ध कर उनके साथ बिताए सुखद लम्हों को एक बार फिर से जीने का प्रयास किया है। यह कविताएं महज कविताएं ही नहीं है यह मेरे चार दशकों के रिसते दर्द की अभिव्यक्ति है । अपने प्रेम को खोने के गम और कई सालों के अकेलेपन की दास्तान को मैंने लफ्जों में पिरोने का प्रयास किया है। काव्य संग्रह 'तुम अगर होते' में लिखी कविताओं के माध्यम से मैंने अपने हृदय के खालीपन और अपनी उम्र के इस पड़ाव पर अपने जीवन साथी की कमी को हुए कहीं ना कहीं उनके लौट आने की उत्कंठा व्यक्त की है।
